Black Bear Hydro

The Black Bear assets, purchased by Brookfield Renewable in November 2013, are located in Maine, on the Union, Penobscot and Androscoggin rivers, and all benefit from FERC licenses. These assets produce enough clean, renewable energy to power an average of 35,000 homes annually in the New England region, where the electricity is primarily sold.
